This song always gets stuck in my head! I absolutely love history and this film is like a snapshot in time, depicting theater life in the early 1930’s. This is my favorite part of the film. =)

I’m going to go in chronological order, so let me start with 42ND STREET (1933), my favorite of the Dick Powell/Ruby Keeler musicals! Busby Berkley was a genius, Ruby Keeler was perfect in this role, and is it weird that I find Dick Powell hot? Yes? Okay….

I love this film!
